Walk our fields while we gather the "extras" for your wreath from our gardens and fields. Afterwards, you will be provided with a metal base to create our own holiday wreath to place outside your home. You will have access to multiple greens including holly, winterberries, redtwig dogwood and curly willow branches, pine cones, my bestfriend Susan's favorite, cypress and more to make something you will be proud to hang at home.
Duration 2-3 hours.
Wear layers of clothes and this is rain or shine. Lite refreshments and holiday music will be provided. We can't wait...
Wreath Workshop 11/30/24 at 9am
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes to navigate the farm's uneven terrain. In the flower field, there are more barriers to watch for including hoses, irrigation, carboard, and lots of pollinators. (Especially the stinging kind BUT note- they are not aggresive!)
Workshops on the farm! Dress in layers since the woskshop can be cold.
Everyone is cautioned to take their time while walking through the farm and any rows of flowers.
Your safety on our farm is paramount to us. We want you to come and have a wonderful experience and go home safely. In order to do this, we ask you to stay on marked paths. If an area is blocked off, do not go there. Do not hand pruners, or other adult intended tools to children.
The farmer, Sharon Hoskins, started Brilliant Dahlia Flower Farm in 2020 with the goal to not only grow flowers but to connect the community with nature, showing how important it is to use her farm land to share with the community.
She lives with her husband, Erik, our gentlemen farmer, and our three children, Christopher, Benjamin and William.
